Uses for the Post Speed Lead

Quoin Corners

With the Post Speed Lead Projection on Quoin Corners may be any dimension from 3/4" and up.

Inside Corners

Line pins are used to hold the Speed Lead in place on inside corners... same bracket, same pole, clips reversed.

Piers & Chimney Tops

Piers and Chimney Tops can easily be built by using the specially designed aluminum blocks on the corners of the Post Speed Lead. These blocks are connected by a length of 1/2" rod which keeps the Speed Leads plumb and accurately spaced. A mason’s line is used near the bottom to hold Speed Leads against the brick. The Speed Leads are held at desired height by line pins in the mortor joints. The Speed Lead’s vertical poles can be plumbed by sliding aluminum blocks up or down.

Outside Corners

With the Post Speed Lead no bottom bracket is required after the first corner unit is laid.

Fireplaces

The Post Speed Lead needs only one bracket after the first brick is laid. The bottom of the vertical pole is held against the brick by the tension of the line.

Quoin corners may be laid without adding to the pole or relocating the pole. The line is placed on the back side of the pole as in illustration.

The vertical poles are 8' aluminum extrusions.

The Post Speed Lead brackets are easily installed and removed and include a swivel allowing Speed Lead to swing away from brick work for easy striking and clean up.

No adjustments or reattachments are necessary. Bricklaying can resume in seconds by reconnecting the line clips.
